I'd say yes because it got me a near 100 dollar discount added onto the military discount I got to ship my bike literally from the most southeast point of the country (Georgia) to Washington State. The roadside assistance is nice and for vacations and such the best western discount comes in nice.

My insurance comes with a roadside assistance policy. Was a hog member for six years----just wasn't worth it to me but others enjoy it.

I like it. It covers both our bikes and my 3 cars. Gives me piece of mind knowing if the wife is out riding and breaks down she can get assistance.

Check w/your m/c insurance provider - thay can add assistance/towing cheaper than HOG. This is what I did...HOG wasn't worth the $$$ for annual pin, few mags & questionable assistance.

don't forget the 18% discount AT&T will give you for being a HOG member. for me, that's $18 a month discount, so 2 1/2 months and HOG is paid for. not to mention the 10% I get at my local dealer.

And the pot luck meetings we have are great. Christmas party too now that I think about it.
I broke down a couple years ago and the map book showed the closet dealer. Road side assistance had told me where it was but the map showed exactly where.
They couldn't find any one at that time of night to get me though. Glad there was enough battery to make it back a few exits and I coasted off the Interstate. I ended up coasting down a hill to a Motel I could see to spend the night.
The Dealer came and got me and the bike the next morning. Had it fixed and continued my trip. Extended warranty and $50.00 took care of a new alternator. They had to make a 100 mile round trip for the part. Oh, I bought two shirts and they gave me 10% off for being a HOG member.
To bad I didn't have more than the basic service, might have covered the room too.
