There are by far more positive reviews and transactions with Iron Cross than any other repair service facility available ... So basically you joined this site to complain about Iron Cross? ... They are a stand up crew and I suppose the fact that you might have caused a problem with your removal is impossible? Okee Dokee ... Good Luck and welcome to the HDForums ... BTW you may want to read the rules for joining and posting on the Forum ...Just a suggestion :>)

With regards to the HD radio, when it fails you can try to repair it yourself. Or if you don't have the appropriate skills, try to locate someone that does. There have been a few threads over the years that detail how to fix some of the common problems. Cost would probably be under $50.
Here's a parts list of items available from Amazon to fix the very common problem of no sound output.
A. TDA7563 STMicroelectronics Audio Integrated Circuit New, from Amazon
B. Innovation Cooling Graphite Thermal Pad (30 X 30mm), from Amazon
C. ASI 388 Clear Electronic Grade Silicone, from Amazon
D. MG Chemicals 422B Silicone Modified Conformal Coating, 55 ml Bottle, from Amazon

Received my radio back from Iron Cross Audio last week. It looked and worked as "new". after I installed it, I had an issue with the CB unit not working and called them. They said this is a common issue and that it was probably an unplugged 6-pin connector that wasn't directly connected to the radio unit. I assured them that I thought I'd checked all of the connectors, but rechecked them...and...well...looks like I missed the one that mattered! Very happy with their work and patients.
I'm sure I don't have to tell most of you what these bikes look like behind the fairing:

FYI The Iron Cross was an award of honor for bravery since 1813...Long before the **** Party took over You might want to research prior to damning something without really knowing its history. Prejudging without really knowing is prejudice itself. I DO NOT condone the **** Party or movement. I do support historical knowledge

That business knew what that name meant when they opened up business.
I can see through that bullshit a mile away
