Enclosed trailer for two big twins?
How wide does the trailer need to be? we have a haritage and a fat boy to haul. Looking at 6X10 or 6X12 single axle enclosed....dont see any wider ones? thanks all Big-K

Just looked at Gator Made trailers yesterday, wasn't really impressed with the "6x12"s. For some reason the seem to be very narrow. Plus the steel wasn't as thick as others I looked at. I had a Pace trailer 6x12 and was able to fit 2 bikes in it.

I had two baggers ('09 FLHX & '09 FLTR) in a 6x12 and it was VERY tight. The bikes needed to be staggered and even then it was still TIGHT. I can't even imagine you could squeeze them into a 6x10. I sold the trailer, but would go with 7ft wide if I had to do it over again.

7X12 min. I had both a 6X10 great for one bike. Then I had a 7X14 made for the Ultra and Heritage. The 7X14 will give you so much more room to stager the bikes and work around them. You can also have more room for other stuff.

We just back from a 4500 mile trip with 3500 miles of it with a softtail and ultra in a 7X14 trailer. We had plenty of room in trailer. We had two plastic tubs 2 foot by 3.5 foot with things in it plus enough luggage for two weeks for three people. We used wheeldocks chocks plus etrack mounted to the floor for securing the bikes. The trailer is a Haulmark. There were cheaper trailers out there but I had read a lot of good things about Haulmark trailers. We were pleased with how things went. We did stagger the bikes but we can unload the front one without unloading the back bike.

When I hear two bikes i hear 7 x 14. If you gonna load them in, no use crowdin them. And ya never know, someday there might be two touring bikes going in there

I have a 6x12 and although I haven't tried to put 2 bikes in it, there is no doubt it would be a very tight fit.
