Zipper's Max flow AC
Has anyone installed a Zipper Max flow AC on their Ultra. I just read an article in American Iron about it, says it add up to 6 hp. I have a stock Ultra except V&H mufflers. Just checking. Thanks

Worked for me
I had the Ness Big Sucker added to my 09 StreetGlide as part of the Stage 1 upgrade before I picked it up and evidently they used the stock HD air filter instead of what looks like should be a K&N style upgraded filter. I just added the Zippers kit with the ~ 5/8 inch deeper filter and my performance is better ( got the front tire off the ground in 2nd for the first time ) along with a gain in gas mileage. Previously ~32 MPG is the best I could get but on a 230 mile ride yesterday and I got 38 MPG on the first tank...

I've had a MaxFlo on my '06 LR for the past two years. It was replacing the SE A/C so can't say I noticed a difference in hp. The switch was with going to a Mud modified round cover.

They are definitely better breathers............I happened to see a dyno being preformed the other day and witnessed an increase in power, along with better air flow readings.
I have one coming in this week and once I have my custom made pipes installed, I will be re-dynoing <sp> my bike to monitor the changes.

Just one other thing to be aware of is that at 5/8" deeper the A/C is going to stick out that much further. Which for me, at 5' 11" and a 30 in inseam, where the SE A/C before cleared my leg when it was on the highway bars, the MaxFlo now comfortably presses against my leg.
