Default Looking at a LEO Road King today...

Came up behind a Citrus Heights Moto-LEO and noticed a couple of interesting things. He deffinately had a Stage 1 AC and Screaming Eagle pipes. While the pipes were as quiet as stock, they had a nice low rumble to them. I liked the sound. I didn't get a chance to really take a close look other than that, but I would have liked to have had the chance to see how everything was set up. Then the thought occured to me... imagine getting paid to ride a a Harley several hours a day along with someone else paying for the bike in the first place. I really think I missed my calling....

I live in Fair Oaks. By and large, I'm not really fond of the Cirtus Heights PD. I've met a few really decent officers, but they've got more than their fair share of (((CENSORED)))!!! What was cool today about the LEO I saw was, he was waiting to tugo straight while I was turning left. He gave me a greeting nod which I returned and then he decided to turn right for whatever reason. I was in the left lane doing 40 in a 40 and he passed by me on the right. (I'll assume he was just getting a good at my King.) I changed lanes and followed him for about a quarter miles when he turned right again after a brief stop at a light.

All jobs have perks but a lot of the perks sometimes turn into jobs. Be careful what you wish for. I always wonder if Hugh Hefner ever said ----what another naked blond?

Yeah... Right... I seriously doubt that brother Hugh is somehow suffering from TMHBS (Too Many Hot Blondes Syndrome)...

Motorbones--- unfortunately, every department I know of requires their motorcycle officers to buy their own bike. There is a Harley dealer in Alabama (forgot the name) that sells police bikes to police at a great discount; probably others as well. Still, that jos has to be one of the top on my list! You can also make extra money leading funerals and the like.
