What's Your Favorite Speed?

RE: What's Your Favorite Speed?
I find it hard to do the speed limit. Usually when I'm around town in a 30 mph zone and no cars in front of me, I sometimes find myself doing 55-60 and in a 45 mph zone I find myself near 80. I guess it depends on the road that I'm on also. 40 mph on a bike is god awful slow!

Not that I condone this but, 80 on the highway and 60 on back roads. I also like to take off like a jack rabbit when the opportunity presents itself. Nothing like the look on people faces when they see a Harley ridden like a sport bike. Must be my alter ego!

70-90
most of the time bike runs real good around 80
onthe back roads try to stay around 55-65
really didn't know a bike could go under 50 and still maintain a balance
just figured you either put a foot down or fell over
learn sumpin every day

RE: What's Your Favorite Speed?
I prefer the 45-55 range. I like cruisin. It's pleasant, the pipes have a nice song they sing in that speed range.
I do have to admit, when I ride into work and launch up the interstate on-ramp with no other traffic, it is second to none. I don't like the buffeting I recieve 65+ and haven't bothered to cut the windshield yet or look into wind deflectors.
