Default Blackline softail

Just wondering if there is anyone out there besides me that thinks this model is pretty sick? I saw a couple of features that I think I'll do to my WG once I get home. Mainly, the tank of this blackline has a cover type thing over the console and I think that gives it a freakin gorgeous look of lean and power. If HD ever offers that for WG then I'm getting one. I don't mind mounting a speedo on the forks to get that look.

If you haven't checked it out here's the link to a closer look of what I'm talking about: http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US

If HD doesn't offer something like that, I think I'll probably try to get one fabricated. lol

I haven't seen one in person, but when I first saw the pics. a few weeks ago I thought it looked like the Softail version of a Wide Glide.

It is a sweet bike, I'm guessing this is what replaced the Night Train? When I was looking for a bike, I wanted either an FXDX or a Night Train, I went with the FXDX, hope I made the right choice!

i like it but it just seems cheap..the triple trees look cheap and it looks like it has a 160 tire on it. the rest of the soft tails seem to have at least 180's...other than that, it is a nice bike...

I think it is a nice looking bike, but I have only seen it in pictures. There was a good write up on the bike in the current issue of HOG. They went into some detail on the developement of the tank.

I like it. However, it only has a 140 on the back. Get a 200 back there and slam it down and I would ride it.

This bike is really cool and a good throw back to the minimalist needs of a bike! The only thing I don't like are the stock bars, they should have stayed with the original concept of clamps on the trees giving it a more agressive look up front. The stock bars just look cheap to me! Over all if I was to buy a second bike and wasn't concerned with storage, the Blackline is where I would go.

I saw one the otherday at my local dealer. Not a bad looking ride, still not a Dyna. Lots of potential, kinda like a blank canvas. I look at nearly all H-D's like that.."what I could do to that bike". Only if (and when) I win the powerball!!

And it looks like the ignition is moved to the universally hated fork lock position -- probably will generate the same kind of "how Do I get my ignition switch back to the tank?" articles you now see for the StreetBob!
