Bought one a few weeks ago. Love the way it looks and love the way it rides. reminds me of a hardtail I used to own, but rides alot better.

Two piece risers and the bar problem is solved. You don't need a conventional cap on it. Probably be able to do it with springer risers. Lot's of stuff in the after market.

The tire is the result of, drum roll please, complaints about the bigger tire. Not the way it looks, Not the way it handles. How much it costs. 300 dollars to change a motorcycle tire? Are they nuts? You want bigger. Heartland will probably have something, maybe even off the shelf.

Maybe the engine color scheme has to do with heat issues. I don't know. Would I buy one? Hard to say. I love the softails, that's for certain.

Think I'll keep mine. Only 12 gs on the clock so far.

I rode one last weekend at demo days and my back was hurting for a day from the low bars and stretched out position. Ill stick to my dyna with mids and apes but the blacline does have a nice look to it.

I looked at one the other day. The salesman told me they're not selling well. Anyone who wants one might be better off waiting until next year. Nice bike, not sure I'd buy one though.

As I look at them, they have grown on me. Lowest seat of any 2012 model, very clean bars and super thin triple trees. The gloss black stuff looks good. The removed seat post makes a bigger difference than you'd expect. I still don't like having the speedometer on the tripple tree.

True, but the Victory ain't a Harley. They certainly don't fetch much used around here and always look kind of cheap and "Japesque" to me. I do think the Blackline is a bit of a mess though.
Each to their own though, I love my '03 Deuce, which many call a "girl's bike". If you like what you ride, then that's all that matters.

Been riding my new blackline for a few weeks know. I'm 6-1 and don't mind the handle bars, actually like them. HD just came out with new bars for blackline that are pulled back about 4 inches, if anybody feels stock are uncomfortable. Thought the guy with the custom apes did a great job. Hope HD sees that pic and does something similar.
