I just hope they don't let the cattle on the beach or uphill from the pond.

 

I'm sure it will be stocked but not with fish... I will also have my pole...lol.

 

Is there any additional info on this anywhere? I didn't see any reference to it on their website. You would think that they would be promoting it now for this August.

 

I can't figure out why they wouldn't promote the hell out this.

I don't know if you're interested in concerts but last year they lost the music shows to Monkey Rock just before the rally started. Haven't seen anything about this year.

 

I am interested in the concerts only because I'm paying $150 for a week to camp. I would like to see a good show or two but it's not my only reason for going to Glencoe. I did hear people saying the big artists fell through last year or the year before. That hasn't turned me off though. I still haven't heard who is playing this year.

 

I am also staying at Glencoe this year (2011). They are damming Bear Butte Creek to create the pond and bringing in sand for the beach. They are promoting it pretty heavily now. Ride Safe!

 

I stopped going to Glencoe when they had the nerve to charge $300 per person... F*** THAT!!!

 

NoCo...I got in early on the special for $150. Other than the price, what is your opinion of the campground? This will be my first time there.

 

I really liked staying at Glenco, decent facilities, trees for shade, friendly people, the parades after dark (bring some beads) but I just got turned off by the greediness of the owners.
