You didn't dump the bike, you didn't tell the wife. No money on the line. Whats the problem? Just next time pick something a little slower to run against. (there will be a next time)

I was just on the Mercedes Benz forum and some guy was bragging about how he smoked some guy on a Fat Boy.

I think you need a 103, cams, and head work so you will never be second again....

I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. If you ended up scaring yourself a little, no sweat.
Years ago I was tooling up the interstate on the Guzzi and I decided to see if it would hit the century mark. I got above 95 and the speedo needle started bouncing like crazy, just then I looked over and in the left lane was a trooper, he pointed at me and gave me a "slow down" motion with his palm facing down. Then he turned on his lights and blew on up the road.

Another time I was in about the same place doing the same thing at night when my headlight went out...but that's another story.

Yeppers those unmarked cars have a way of looking like a lit up xmas tree when they turn on there lights... don't ask how I know.....

The only stupid part is that after you let him pass, and came to a stop with the rest of the traffic, you should have gotten off your bike, tapped on his window, and threatened him and his family. That's what real bikers do. lol, j/k. Nothing wrong with opening it up every now and then. It just clears out the carbon buildup, right?
