A Harley depreciate...really? You'll be able to schedule your pickup when YOU are ready and it'll be brand new. Easy.
New car sales can only sell to military persons serving or stationed overseas. Part of their agreement with the big 3 and HD. And they only sell American. Hmmm...why no Victorys? You are also able to buy one within so many days of your return (somewhere between 30-90; can't remember). A great deal. Talk to your dealer and see if they'll match the price or, at the least come close. Mine does military sales.

I don't care if it's "new" in 2012, it will have depreciated.
I must have misunderstood his definition of "now".
Perhaps he meant pay now, toward a 2012. But they aren't being made now so the contract will have to have some serious wording to look thru.
Not sure what's wrong with saving the money and buying the dam thing later with a nice fat down payment.
Why "lock" into something you might not even want a year from now?
People change ya know.
