Default Make gloves work with a touch screen

For those who are using their iPhone & Droid for GPS and music..

Here is the link that explains how to do it yourself. Hardest part is finding a strong enough needle to get through the glove.

http://www.instructables.com/id/Maki...-Touch-Screen/

Search eBay for "conductive thread" or "iPod thread" and you will have plenty of choices for a couple feet of the thread. It feels just like regular thick thread.

Thanks ! I've been wondering why a pencil eraser didn't work on my Droid. Now I know.

my wife has a pair of "texting" gloves. They have little dots on all the fingers so it works with a touch screen.

My Zumo GPS' touch screen works with gloves. With the phone connected via bluetooth, I can answer through the GPS display. I typically only have the GPS on for long rides. Otherwise, I wouldn't other to answer the phone anyway.
