Other thing that makes my list is a fertilizer spreader.

 

I regularly strap a $15K shotgun to the luggage rack and do a 200 mile round trip to ATL. I can get there taking back roads for the most part. 100 miles on the bike, stopping and shooting 3-4 rounds of skeet and then another 100 miles home, makes for the perfect day.

.22LR in the box. Just layed it flat across the back seat and used a few bungees and paracord.

By the way, paracord does work great. It packs small, so it's always in my saddlebags.

 

A garden hoe, small cooler with 12 beers + ice, and a watermelon....at the same time with no bags.

5 string banjo and 1 gallon of Apalachicola oysters for the Florida Crew rally in Ocaly.

 

2 packs of Kotex maxi pads for the wife. Thank goodness for saddle bags!

 

Not my bike, but this is an ambitious load.
