whats the craziest thing you've hauled on a bike?

I carry a break down fishing pole with essentials in the tour pack. I have also taken it up to my property in the ADK hunting season with my rifle in a hard case strapped in the passenger seat. Probably looked like "uneasy rider" going dowm the thruway.

I've done the four bags of grocerys on an FXRS with no bags.
Tire on the back of an Ultra and a frozen turkey on the luggage rack of the Ultra. Craftsman three drawer tool box on that same luggage rack, 700 miles.

Trunk, saddlebags and passenger seat full of rocks. I'd been working on building a flagstone patio in my back yard. Went for a ride up a mountain road about 50 miles from home, saw a deposit of nice, flat rocks that would do well as pavers, so I filled up the saddlebags and trunk then bungied a few more on the passenger seat. Saddlebags and trunk were grossly overweight.

While station at Hilo, HI. and working on a pretty good buzz, I decided it was time to get back to the APT and realized I was out of beer. I bought a case a beer from the beer mess and slap it on the tank leaned over it and rodeer home.

Before we could afford a car we had to try and use a bike for all those things you'd never think twice about when you have a car. Ever tried moving house using a bike? - we gave up and rented a truck.
Carried various cats around - first time we did it it was in a pillowcase being held by my wife - that thing really freaked out and it was like trying to ride a bike with a miniature WWF fight happening behind me. After that we used a little carrier strapped on the back. Also carried trees and plants for the garden - wife a keen gardener - problem is anything over about 40mph shredded the leaves and my ear got a bashing - still better than going less than 40mph though. Worst was on an old Honda Dream when I had my brother in law on the back with 2 56lb bags of cement (one on each knee). He was whining, bike didn't seem to take any notice of the bars and we had a fun ride through the traffic.

A case of canned beer across the gas tank, a sleeping bag bungee-corded to the handlebars and a set of front rotors for a 1980 Camaro inside a box bungee corded to the rear of the seat....Rode past the local Police Precinct with all that "gear"...Good thing I didn't have to stop quickly. Yes, I was sober!!!

I used to play in a Pipes and Drums Band (piper)
I often rode to gigs in my kilt with my pipes strapped on my back. Got some strange looks, especially on the highway when my kilt took to blowin up around my waist, and yes I was Regimental.

Two chicks at once. It was like carrying one really big girl. Problem was one of them rode with me several times before, the other never rode before, they kept leaning different ways in the turns. Made for a hairy ride!
