How many helmets does one man/woman need?

I have 5, but only 4 that I actually use. The 5th one I like but it has a broken piece that I have been unable to replace and I feel as soon as I get rid of the helmet, I'll locate the piece I need.

Hi my name is Steve, and apparently I am addicted to helmets.
I knew I had a lot but damn the OP for making me actually count them. I have NINE helmets, with #10 on the way. Most of them sit on the shelf gathering dust. Some are barely used. Is there any market for selling these things ?
the ones I wear:
1) ACC carbon fiber novelty polo. had it forever, years before they ever made DOT helmets and that whole fiasco. Needs a new liner, getting kinda skeevy.
2) Skid Lid 1/2 DOT. my favorite DOT.
3) Fulmer V2 3/4
4) fingers crossed my Biltwell flat black non-DOT 3/4 will here tomorrow. Expecting this one to become a favorite
the ones that didn't make the cut:
5) Fulmer full face gloss black
6) HJC full face gloss black (my father gave tis to me when he quit riding, I've never worn it)
7) HJC 3/4 gloss black- can you say Marvin the Martian
8) HJC 1/2 DOT (wore it a lot). covered in stickers, but I outgrew my badass 'sticker' phase
9) Vega 1/2 leather - nice helmet but not a favorite for some reason.
10) Daytona 1/2 DOT in flat black... got because of the rave reviews here on HDF, but hated it from day 1.

5 on my shelf, all ff, two for my kids, two for me and one mx, just in case I get the itch again! Hit the pavement face first many years ago wearing a Bell Star, saved me great harm for sure, been wearing one ever since...to each his own.

I have a few old ones in the garage but only 2 that I wear. 1/2 & ff plus the wifes 3/4.
The styrofoam goes bad after several years so I relace every 4-5 years with another good but affordable one (mostly hjc). The styofoam gets hard over time and wont absorb an impact.
