How many helmets does one man/woman need?

I have 2 and the wife has 2.
Harley Half Helmet for the Warmer temps (60's and up), and a Harley Modular Full Face for lower temps (36-50's) and long highway trips.
Truthfully, I can see the reasoning for me to get a true Full Face for cold weather, since getting the Modular I didn't consider the air blowing in through the gaps in the face mask.
I wouldn't want to keep more than three dedicated to the Harley though, since you are supposed to replace them every three years or after any significant impact.
My Half Helmet is due to be replaced in 2012 and the Modular is due to be replaced in 2013. When it is time, they will go into the trash. No point in keeping them to just collect cob webs and clutter the garage.

I've got two of em. Both are half. One doesn't have anyplace to attach a shield so I got the 2nd so I could wear a shield if it's raining or hailing real bad. Normally don't wear either one unless I'm heading to a state that has a helmet law and then I usually just take the one that will take a shield.

I have one, the same cheapo HD flat black 1/2 helmet I've had for about 4 years now. My wife has 2, an HD full face she prefers in winter and a flat black Outlaw 1/2 with butterflies on it for the rest of the year.
