The factory MOCO wheels are not coated with any type of clear coat. I use a pea sized dot of blue magic metal polish on a cotton cloth and polish away. It's like owning a wooden boat - they look nice, but require a ton of elbow grease to look good

Any good metal polish will shine then up, mothers is great. Ain't much you can do about pitting, that is kinda too late. For general all around cleaning on my dyna wheels I use the Pink scrubby sponges like the ones you might use on teflon cookware. Work great and don't scratch the metal

I also use Mothers with the powerball. Doesn't last long, I'm going to look into the Everbright.

Cleaning the wheels on a Fat Bob is a HUGE PIA! I can barely get my hands behind the disks...think I might try one of those powerballs

There is a product over in here in the USA called "Nevr-Dull". It comes in a short blue can. Inside is a large wad of cotten-like material saturated with polish. Once the Aluminum is cleaned of brake/road grime, vigorously rub this on using a circular motion. You'll get a beautiful shine. When done, put a hi-quality paste wax on the metal.
Another good product offered by Harley-Davidson is "Harley Bright Metal Polish". It comes in a large tooth-paste like tube. It squeezes out a thick pink cream. It too works really well and should be available at your local H-D delaer.
