Ape hangers on military bases

Ape hangers on military bases
Does anybody know if military bases (specifically Marine bases in SoCal) have any restrictions on handlebar heights?
I was poking around some base orders but didn't find anything, so do they even care how tall apes are, or do they just go by the state regulations?
Thanks!

I'm stationed at Pendleton now and have 16"apes. I have never been hassled about them. If I remember right, Pendleton regs state they can't be above shoulder height...don't know about Miramar or MCRD.

I'm active duty Navy stationed at 32nd Street in San Diego and I guarantee no one will say anything about apes. The only thing they really look for is the reflective vest. Most guys wear the NWU's through the gate anyway.
Likewise for MCAS Miramar if you're down in this area.

At Ft. Sill (Army) they use the Oklahoma state regulations, if enforced at all. Some soldiers riding here with apes that I know are illegal by state standards.

Here at Scott AFB, IL they hammer you on alot of things for not having the proper gear on. Reflective vest, Sturdy over the ankle boots, gloves, long sleeve shirt on (minimum) for upper body protective requirements, full face helmet visor must be shut unless you have glasses on underneath, half helmets have to wear sunglasses. But yeah I don't think they will get you much problems on any base about apes, they focus mainly on the safety gear you are wearing.
