I am planning on hitting this rally this coming Labor Day weekend. Can anyone give me some opinions on it? It looks like a great time and I know the area is beautiful. My ride will be taking out of Portland, OR early in August so any rally, except Sturgis, in August and September west of the Missippi would be great also. Bike, Blues and BBQ in AZ sounds great but just a little late my vacation is only 8 weeks long.

 

The 4 Corners Rally, has been greatly reduced in size and numbers , due to politics a few years ago, now with reduced motorcycles everywhere, the rally is mostly locals, a respectable 5-10k max, rooms are usually available into August at around 100-150 / night.

We go as it is great riding and the weather is usually ok. I recommend it as a "7" as far as rallys go. The actual rally with the Indian reservation ( Ignaciao) was the where most of the vendors and action is now. Durango less, but they resurrected the parade on Sunday morning which is nice. No great crowds on the streets in Durango at night time anymore, but that's ok, we still like eating there an enjoying the good time.

Durango HD does a nice job too.

 

Thanks for the info. I am planning on meeting up with my brother on our year ride. This is kind of in the middle of where we both live and I have ridden several trips thrugh CO but not this section. I guess we will give it a shot.
