try Hollywood Motors in LA. My hubby got his used BMW police bike there that he uses for escort services. It is a great bike, in superb condition and runs extremely well. Price was very reasonable too. They also have used HD police bikes.

Most of the Police/SL County units and all of the Utah Hiway Patrol bikes are sold at the Salt Lake HD dealer and I believe there is a waiting list you can get on. Matt

The UHP motorcycles are the best looking law enforcement bikes ever. I would think they get the best care too.

No, No, No..... My cities bikes are the best!!!

I've had a police bike and I will say it was the best bike I ever purchased, 1991 FXRP (pictures are on my site(click the picture in my signature)). I bought that bike with 6,000 (?? 106,000 ??) miles and I drove it for 4 years putting on 50,000 more miles with only 1 problem. A tappet took a crap around 40,000. I was still very happy with it.

Something else you should know is when they bench test the engines before they go into bikes they set aside the higher HP/TQ engines for use in police bikes. Trust me i know. I've got a '98 FXDS now and that bike is pretty slow compared to my faired '91.
