Won't do that again.
My friends rode that ride from Jacksonville, NC to Reynolds GA ~500mi without a windsheild...the next ride was headed west and we had to stop in Raleigh to get a windsheild

550 miles leaving Sturgis a couple of years ago. The distance wasn't a big deal but the pouring rain for 95% of the trip sure was. Good God, did my wife laugh at me when I finally rolled up the drive way. Talk about a wet rat. Good memories

It was about half by-way and half interstate, we wanted to stay on the bi-ways. although on the interstates in Mass and New York we hit we got both bikes into the 90-95 MPH range, he hit 100mph or higher a few times, not me I was happy at 90. My cuz likes the speed I dont like tickets, so we did not stay at that speed for extended periods but I can say that for a good hour or two, At some point in New York, we stayed at 85MPH. I thought at days end we made good time. We were heading to Bancroft canada. There was no way we were going to make it on one day. That ride for me was the longest day ride I have ever done.

Now, I am sure there are some iron butts out there, lets hear it. From where to where in one day.
This morning I went from Taunton to Brockton and back in one day,,,,,lol

790+ miles from Eureka Springs, AR to Nashville, TN. The first 340 or so were back roads and then finished it on interstate.

400-450 is about the most I want to do on back roads in a single day. The super slab makes it easy to knock off 700+ mile trips.
