550 miles leaving Sturgis a couple of years ago. The distance wasn't a big deal but the pouring rain for 95% of the trip sure was. Good God, did my wife laugh at me when I finally rolled up the drive way. Talk about a wet rat. Good memories

Me and my cuz went from Brockton Mass. to Cornwall Canada in one day. We left at 5:00 am got there just as the sun was going down, It was summer so around 8:00 or 9:00 pm. To the best of my knowledge it was just under 600 miles or dead on. It was about half by-way and half interstate, we wanted to stay on the bi-ways. although on the interstates in Mass and New York we hit we got both bikes into the 90-95 MPH range, he hit 100mph or higher a few times, not me I was happy at 90. My cuz likes the speed I dont like tickets, so we did not stay at that speed for extended periods but I can say that for a good hour or two, At some point in New York, we stayed at 85MPH. I thought at days end we made good time. We were heading to Bancroft canada. There was no way we were going to make it on one day. That ride for me was the longest day ride I have ever done.
Now, I am sure there are some iron butts out there, lets hear it. From where to where in one day.

790+ miles from Eureka Springs, AR to Nashville, TN. The first 340 or so were back roads and then finished it on interstate.
400-450 is about the most I want to do on back roads in a single day. The super slab makes it easy to knock off 700+ mile trips.
