They would promise to bring by a bunch of their "energy drink" or whatever. Only saw about ten percent of the stuff promised. So, I got to the point that except for stuff already on the vehicle, like Harley-Davidson, or Ford, not much you could do about that. But if you wanted me to wear additional logos than there was going to be a quid-pro-quo, and it was in advance. I don't even let car dealers put those little dealer logos or license plate frames on my vehicles. YMMV.
I see your point... if you are racing and that advertising is part of the business. Wearing logos on your clothes for a recreational sport is a different ballgame. Sounds like you got a bad taste in your mouth from your racing days and cant let it go.

I bought a Harley jacket with the skull on the back. I like it. Great quality jacket if you ask me. Although the jackets and some of the other stuff is made in China they are still an American Company. I am proud to support them. Keep on deciding to not support HDMC and we won't have to worry about having these discussions anymore.

I have the HD authority nylon jacket for summer riding and like it a lot. For cold weather I wear a Fox Creek leather jacket.

I actually got my jacket because it had the large eagle on the back of it. I've always loved eagles, and the fact that HD uses that alot is just icing on the cake.

I got their synthetic jacket with the large reflective eagle on the back of it for $140. It was CHEAPER than any other comparable jackets that were available. I got it cause I want to be seen at night. Went past 2 bikes within a few miles of each other when in my cage. The first bike I nearly didn't see until I nearly ran him over since he was decked out head to toe with dew rags etc all blacked out and his tiny taillight blended in with the cars in the distance. Scared me since it couldda been ugly. The next guy I saw from a mile away since he had a jacket with reflective logos on it and reflective logos on his helmet. That showed me right there the kids of things I wanted to wear.

I will wear anything that makes me more visible to others, more comfortable, and safer and that I like. I could care less who makes it. I could care less what others think. If they look down on me cause I ride a harley, or wear some gear, or don't have "the look" then I wont want to be associating or riding with them.

I ride with people that enjoy riding regardless of the kind of bike they have. As long as they are cool and respectful, and enjoy riding as much as I do, then its all good with me.

Wow cabin fever huh..........11 pages of Bull **** about jackets?
My bike doesn't say Harley on it because of the custom paint, my jacket does say Harley on it beacause I bought the jacket that I wanted. If you don't like it tough ****, don't buy it, wear it, or look at it! For those of you Harley owners or so called Harley owners that hate the moco so much, why in the hell do you even support the company by owning one, and I don't care if you bought it used, you are still supporting the company somewhere along the line......get real.
Who in the hell cares what your jacket says.........I don't, for all I care you can wear a jacket that has a flashing ICON logo on it, or maybe Honda...............LOL
Let the crap fly fellas...........
