To each their own. Wear what you like.... As long as it saves you some skin when needed and you like it...who cares

I have an FXRG jacket that I got in 07 and I absolutely love it. I treat the leather twice a year and it's stays soft and looks like new. I've ridden in all kinds of weather with it and it performs wonderfully. Got caught in a downpour one day and my upper body was completely dry. The back of it was completely empty, but I put a HD reflective emblem on it so that I could be seen at night. My friends all thanked me for doing that cause it made me much more visible. To each their own. Wear what you want and who really cares what people think.

Wouldn't these jackets look better with just a small HD logo or similar on the chest of the jacket rather or the trashy stuff on the back.

For the record I wear an FXRG as that is as understated as you can get here in Oz.

I agree, although I do have a Willie G Harley Jacket that has a really nice wheel design embroidered on the back in all black stitching, all of my other jackets are made in usa by rte 1 leathers in Danvers MA on Rte 1. They can measure you and custom make any of their jackets, vests or chaps tailored like a suit. Rose and her husband have been there making leather goods since the 80's. All of their jackets have a lifetime warranty. The only reason I had to buy new stuff is from gaining weight over the years..

I would say that if people were truthful, 1 out of 100 people really dont care what others think. The other 99 do to some degree. JMO

For a QUALITY, good looking leather jacket, check out Fox Creek Leather. You order online by several body measurements, not S, M, L, XL...

Not cheap, but a lot better stuff than HD gear.

I disagree. They sell quality gear. But you do pay for it. The town I live in has a multi metric dealer and sells no gear other than helmets. The town 100 miles away that has the HD dealer also has dealers for all the metrics and Victory and CanAm too. The HD dealer is the only one that stocks any riding gear and they have a good selection. Unless you want to order online they are the option and you will have to pay for that level of service. I have no issues with the service or the price.
