I guess I don't get the complaint - if you don't like it, don't buy it.
When enough people don't buy it, they'll stop making it and start making something people will buy.
Problem solved.
Capitalism - works every time.

Here in Oz we drink a thing called coffee, so we have no need to visit Starbucks................try it, you may just like it. For the record I tried Starbucks last year when touring around US of A on FLHX. What is it with the hot brown water thery serve-up????????????? But got to say luv their logo (mainly because I havent paid $700.00 to wear it)....back to you.
Cheers from downunder

From time to time I visit the MoCo website to see what is new in jackets, now this is my problem; I will find a FINE LOOKING jacket only to find on the back of the jacket there is some huge motif (like an Eagle, flames or a skull)....thoughts are `why have they ruined a perfectly good jacket with all that OTT stuff on the back'. Anyone else sick of this `billboard affect on the back of the MoCo jackets'?
Wouldn't these jackets look better with just a small HD logo or similar on the chest of the jacket rather or the trashy stuff on the back.
For the record I wear an FXRG as that is as understated as you can get here in Oz.

So don't expect it to go away any time soon.
I like FXRG stuff very much too, and have both a perforated and a regular leather for summer and winter riding alike. Recently bought an Illuminated, but it does have some serious logoitis.

I took them off because they looked like *** you know? Kinda like those pretty white tennis shoes you ride with.

U beat me to it.....
thinking they want people to know their riding a Harley, just not the clothing..
Yea, I own one, don't like the skulls or big patches on my clothing, but I do like the HD B-S thats pressed into the leather, been a really good jacket and is holding up great.
It usually does cost more, it usually is pretty good, for some it seems like if they bought it on sale it was a heck of a deal, if they have to pay full price its junk..
Really we all look for the best deal we can get for the $$$ we have to spend.

Funny how this thread turned into a flame war... You like Harley's enough to own one and post on a forum about it, but your too good to wear their logo on a jacket? Too each his own style, but that seems a little pompous IMO.

I'd call it a preference of style. I like things simple, clean, lean. Always did. For me..it's not about "I don't like to advertise"...it's about "I like it plain, clean, and simple as can be."

People...wear what you want...i could care less. Just don't talk **** about what i choose to wear.

In our area the dealership is the only place you can buy riding clothes. The only other options are the internet and I hate buying clothes that I have not tried on. They never fit. My wife has the FXRG jacket and I have the reflective jacket that is all black and has the logo on it, but it only shows up at night. They offer choice, just make the one that is right for you.
