I bought a hd leather vest at the dealership at thier fall blowout sale, didn't realize till days later that the tag said made in china, why waste the extra money to get the Harley name on cheap chinese junk, next time I will buy localy made stuff and support the local economy like i thought i was.

Every hose on a Freightliner truck is made in China. Every hose on a Volvo, Mack truck and Kubota tractor is made in China. I KNOW this. I could go on... There is junk from China, and then there is state of the art equipment. Guess where your Blackberry and iPhone are made? Your XBox?
Not promoting China, just clarifying the point. China can = junk, but not always.

Lots jacket with HD all over them. Me and my girlfriend have em. They are good quality, nice jackets IMHO. Billboard or not I don't care, I like my jacket. As previously noted, if you wanna fly under the radar, get the fxrg line. My girlfriends parent both wear those and they are nice. Are the harley jackets over priced? Can you find a jacket for less money? No doubt, but they sell em becase people buy them. Buy whatever you want. Im happy with mine.

From time to time I visit the MoCo website to see what is new in jackets, now this is my problem; I will find a FINE LOOKING jacket only to find on the back of the jacket there is some huge motif (like an Eagle, flames or a skull)....thoughts are `why have they ruined a perfectly good jacket with all that OTT stuff on the back'. Anyone else sick of this `billboard affect on the back of the MoCo jackets'?
Wouldn't these jackets look better with just a small HD logo or similar on the chest of the jacket rather or the trashy stuff on the back.
For the record I wear an FXRG as that is as understated as you can get here in Oz.
