I've never been to one. Anyone ever been to one, bought a bike at one. Any pros or cons. I've been thinking of buying a Vintage Harley. Any thoughts?

 

Know what you're looking at. Know what should be there, and what is, and what isn't. Make sure you understand what representations the seller is making, and if the auctioneer is backing it up. Do your research before you bid to avoid expensive disappointment.

20 years ago the Jerry Woods auctions were a good place to find vintage bikes. I don't know anymore. You might have better luck with one of the companies you can find in Walnecks.

 

Go to www.caimag.com and study up on the MoCo's font styles over the past 60 years.

Do your research, don't buy on impulse, and get the VIN looked at by someone on that forum.
