Should I wait to ride?

I wouldn't ride my bike with salt on the roads. I just look at the engine bay of my car to see what it can do.
Its been raining here in here in the uk for a couple of weeks so I'm looking to get back on the road. Sunday is looking good.....

It makes me sad...but I will wait. I'm in the St. Louis area. Either way, I need to wait for the ice to melt in my driveway and that could take a little time.
I've only been riding since Oct...so I'm ready to get back out there.

Got hose??? My bike sits next to me in my downstairs office as I type this. I work from home too and have way too much time on my hands so not to worry, the paint may wear off but it ain't gonna rust! Makes me crazy to stare at it all winter...I wanna ride!!!

I will only ride for two weeks at the peak of summer as this is the only optimum temp for the bike to be out as well as humidity and wind speeds....
60s this week, gonna ride the hell out of my bike!

JK, salt is not the evil enemy that everyone claims it to be. Ever hear of soap and water? Try it sometime, it works! I'm getting mine out tomorrow, and I'm going to enjoy it immensely! First ride of the season for me, and it's going to be awesome. Salt? Yep, I'm sure it's out there. But, the hose and bucket await when I get home, so it's all good. Life is too short to worry about a little salt. Jeez peeps, these are machines, not holy relics. Ride 'em today, 'cause you might not be here tomorrow. Just sayin'.

Well that makes him right on time. I am taking my bike out and getting her packed up for season, but I won't take her out until it rains good, which is in a few days.
