I don't have any patches anywhere on my coat IMO it's your choice if you like it go for it , I'm not going to say anything about or to you for what you put on your coat your choice .But I did have to smile this summer when I saw a guy wearing a vest that you could not have put another patch on ,they were all harley store patches and the vest still had the pleats in it from being folded on the store shelf ,he must have bought them and sowed them on before he even picked up his bike, lol

+1 - Doesn't make you a douche or an ***, it makes you an individual.

I've got one I wear sometimes. It's mostly my military/patriotic stuff. As the years pass, it'll get small patches from the places I've been. I look at it like a hardhat full of stickers, a resume of sorts. lol

A "rub" is a Rich Urban Biker, and a "cut" was originally a denim jacket with the sleeves cut off...not a vest, but it's definition has morphed into various things today.
I used to wear one, don't any more, respect those that wear the real deal and don't really give a damn what others wear.

+1 on the Carhartt vest logo, unless you look really hard at some of the dirt and stains on it. It seems to say "Wash me". One corner of it was chewed by my golden retriever when he was a puppy. The zipper pull broke a long time ago and was replaced with a key ring that has a buffalo tooth on it. I ooze class.
