Default Zanotti HD - another satisfied customer!

With some complaining about different companies, especially discounters, being bad or extremely slow getting parts, I thought I'd post about my latest purchase from Zanotti HD. This was my second purchase from Zanotti HD since Chicago HD stopped their 20% discounting.

http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US

02-04-11 I ordered the wheel and installation kit.

02-05-11 I received an email from Zanotti HD stating the parts were on order and would be shipped to me when they received them, probably in 4-6 working days.

02-10-11 I received an email from Zanotti HD stating the parts had been shipped UPS.

02-14-11 The date UPS tracking says my parts will be here.

I saved $90 + by ordering from Zanotti HD instead of driving to my local dealer for the wheel.

If I'd driven to my dealer it's doubtful they'd have it in stock and I'd have to make another trip to pick it up. Two trips there in my truck burns almost $20 in gas. So my real savings was over $100.

Thanks Zanotti HD, you did good by me!

I've had nothing but good luck with Zanotti's also. Currently waiting on $1k worth of parts, some painted so this order will take 4-6 weeks (at the mercy of mother HD) but I knew that going in. Saved more than $200 on this order alone, worth the wait for me.

I've always had great luck with Zanotti's, just don't think you're gonna get your stuff in a few days. If I need something that fast I just go to the dealer.

Another former happy customer here. Wouldn't be former if they didn't change their policy about shipping to Canada... I saved almost $200 buying a couple of manuals through them rather than going through my local dealer.

I recently ordered the Airwing Luggage Rack and LED brake light to fit it. I checked stock on their website and both parts were there. 1 week later I had the parts in my hands. Saved about $50.00 after paying shipping. I will order from them in the future.

i've never had what i consider to be an unreasonable wait with zanotti's, unlike chd. the longest i've ever had to wait was 1 day short of a month for my hard lowers. and that included mail time to send them a chrome cash certificate, and to get painted from hd.

but if it's something necessary to get/keep the bike on the road, i make sure to order it early enough that i have it on hand when i need it (oil filter, etc), or i buy it from the local store.

I've had a part on order from CHD since 11/14/10. I ordered the same part from Zanotti's on 1/23/11. 2/8/11 it was at my door.
Still no word from CHD.
They've lost a customer and Zanotti gained one.

Zanotti's has never disappointed me. I work in Europe so ordering through them saves me from paying double over local prices. Yeah , that's right, the **** here is usually double but in Euro which really means about 140% savings.

My wheel arrived yesterday, via UPS. Damn it looks good!

Now my little problem is my front tire doesn't need replaced yet. It's close, maybe 2/32's, but still has some useable tread. If I was going on a road trip I'd go ahead and change it, but will wait awhile till I 'use up' some more tread.

Here's a pic of another forum member's Heritage with the front wheel I'm putting on mine.

Don't it look 'purty?'
