I always wonder if I could get away with that - but don't want to find a ticket on my bike. Anybody else doing this without a problem?

Handicapped ramps make nice little driveways up onto the sidewalk. Just make sure the ramp is clear first.

Many of the stores here have motorcycle parking areas. Always right up front. Right next to the handicapped spots. (still not sure if that's a bad omen tho)

Funny you bring this up.
On Sunday my wife and I and another couple went for ride.Ended up at Wal Mart to pick something up.We parked on the sidewalk away from the front entrance. Not like there is a cattle drive of people walking right there. Most make a B line from the parking lot to the entrance.
An employee even walked right by us as we got off the bikes and said nothing.

I have parked on the sidewalk a few times but not much. Mostly when there's room and there's other bikes there.

I usually park on the striped lines in parking lots instead of a regular space. I've seen more than one bike hit by some idiot thinking the space is empty and wheeling in.

If someone says something to me about where I park, it better be their business and/or sidewalk I'm parking at. I'm not gonna be 'reprimanded' by someone sticking their nose into something they have no part in.

I usually try to park at the end of an row on the lines. If there is a light pole there, even better. Never have parked on the sidewalk.

Just depends Iron Pony here in Columbus yeah I will, most other places no. I am not saying that I have not done it, just not on a regular basis. I will park in the end of the rows if I can. Also I usually try to find a light pole to park next to. I think it keeps people from pulling though and hopefully they will see the pole before hitting the bike.

If you were on a powerchair, you wouldn't have to park at all!
