Bought my Low Rider there in 2004 and was treated fairly, service was competent over the years. Last week upgraded to an Ultra Classic bought used from American Twin which coincidentally is now owned by Southern Tier Harley from Binghamton. I will however take the UC to Ithaca HD for service as it is much closer.

They just operate Low Pressure.

I'd much rather have the low pressure than what I experienced buying a car a couple months after that.
Are they a low pressure dealer?

They're not the friendliest people, but that means I can look around without having them hover over me. I haven't bought a bike from them, but several of my friends have, and seem to be satisfied with the prices and the deal they got.

Spent a week last summer cruising the area. I developed clutch problems, stopped by there and an older guy from service grabbed his tools and came out to my bike in the lot. Had me going in 10 minutes, no charge. I gave him $20 because I think it's important to encourage good service for the next guy who needs it. Obviously I have no complaints.

I've been on both sides of the sales dilema. I sold Chevy's for a while. Some people want you to fall all over them and beg them to buy your product while others like myself don't want you right over them but yet want their questions answered when asked. You never really know how to start a customer and learning the knack of doing so takes a while. I didn't really care for the sales side of the business and went back to parts as soon as I could. Chances are the owner of Ithaca HD is a low key sales person and is more misunderstood than he is unfreindly.

Got my Fatboy there last spring. They found the color I wanted, and got it within a week. I think the price was fair. Had them put the pipes and stage 1 AC on for me a few weeks after I picked up the bike. An old family business. John is low key, but I like that. The service manager Nub is helpful and accommodating. It is my first Harley and I didn't really look anyplace else, but I would recommend them.
