Never dealt with MoCo, but I had a Ford lemon, and we went through arbitration (couldn't sue because I didn't read the fine print in the purchase contract).

Anyway, after nine separate attempts at repairing the same problem, I bought a mechanic a beer and he told me that all the mechs knew about this problem. Mentioned that to the arbitrator, and (two months later) Ford replaced everything back of the u-joint, including the tires.

Persistence matters.

Personally, I think lawyers are like guns and penises... if you have to pull it out, use it. Don't stand there waving it around.
