Surprise in the Mail today...

RE: Surprise in the Mail today...
Hey Bikergirl - don't feel bad - we didn't even get free t-shirts -and we bought a 05 wide glide and a 05 sporty from the dealer all within 3 month time frame. No- I take that back, we got a mass market card with a printed signature saying thanks for buying from us - but that's all! I am envious of all these other dealers who seem to go out of their way for their customers...maybe it really IS time for me to find a new dealer.

Howdy Ann, to bad that you don't live closer to where I live. I went to the Tri-cities today for my overdue 1st maint. job. Everybody there were super nice and that feeling was present in every dept. that I went into. I would give them two-thumbs up for their friendliness and making me feel like I WAS somebody.
p.s. I forgot to say, for those that don't know where the tri-cities are, they are in SE Washington.

I got an engraved plaque with the bike (with correct paintjob represented) engraved on it, "Custom built for" and VIN. Nice touch, but I took it back cause they mis-spelled my name! They mentioned that it was the 9th or 10th one that the engraver had FUBARed in the last month or 2. I left the bad one with them and got a new corrected one in about a week's time. Also got a free shirt, the bike at slightly below MSRP (including setup!) and the 1k mi service included! Add in the lack of Sales tax in MT and really cheap PERMANENT vehicle plates for bikes and it would almost be worth getting stationed there again just so I could buy another bike...almost.
