Got a pair of Danners-----been wearing them for 6 years------light weight, waterproof and comfortable. Going for about $180 these days.

Holy thread bump.

For what its worth, off the bike my favorite boots are Danner GTX military boots made right here in Oregon, USA.

On the bike, this year I have been riding in these (Harley Davidson Darine):

I like that they don't really say "Harley" anywhere on them and actually, they are one of my favorite pairs of boots I've ever owned. Way surprised at how nice they are for the money.

Something about those older designs always comes through when it comes to riding gear.
Frye makes awesome boots IMO. Got a pair of engineers, a lace up tall one (cant remember the name, but super comfortable and what i use for riding primarily) and a pair of fulton lace ups IIRC for other wear purposes. Never an issue with any of their stuff.

Since once you buy a pair of boots you end up living with them for sometime I would like to get some input before buying again
Thanks in advance.
I would recommend Sidi On Road, I bought a pair 20 years ago and am still using them today, they are 100% water proof, you can stand in the river with these boots and you feet will not get wet. They are fully lined and really comfortable. They are not cheap but considering how long the last they are worth the money
