Oh..... I was thinking that I was in the touring section. For the bones the vh short shots sound great and aren't too expensive. Not sure what slip ons to get.. But if you can afford the rhinehart cross backs (I think that's what they are called)... Anyway they sound awesome. A blacked out 2 into 1 thunder header would look good and sound bad a$$.

All you you require is that they are the "loudest slip on exhaust".
No wonder why motorcycle noise laws are popping up faster than weeds...

Just installed a set of Python slash cut slip-ons on my 06 1200C. They sound deep and loud. I love the fit and finish, and it saved a ton of weight over the stock cans. Good luck, and pick the ones that you want.

Try looking at Supper trapp SE with Mikuni race cores. These are the ones I orderd and they are great. Check out Paul Yaffee on youtube he has them on one of his bikes and they sound great. Just ordered them for my bike can't wait. Also give Rob Hassay a call at Racepro motorsports his phone 888-RACEPRO or website 888racepro.com He sold me a set of supper trapp se with mikuni race cores installed and buy one get one free fish tail end cap and free shipping for $320.00. It is a great price and really nice guy to.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1MCE52V6uQ

Amen on that one. We are our own worst enemy. Continue on this line of thinking and we all will be back to stock exhaust. It is sad it has come to this.

I'm cheap. Knocking out my stock mufflers leaving part of the welded Bung in for back pressure. Just knocked out the mesh on the inlet side

It is really dissapointing to see those who are crying about loud pipes. I guess the nanny culture is starting to creap into the harley world also. Makes me wonder what kind of bikes these people were riding before they bought their harley! I for one could care less how loud sombody else has their bike. Everyone nowadays is so concerned with what everyone else is doing. Relaxe people and just enjoy the ride, that guy with the loud pipes will be by you in a couple seconds and all will be well again. The guy who said we are our own worst enemy is exactly right!
