I have a 2009 RKC with steel spoke rims and I would like to upgrade to Profile laced spoke rims.

I was told by my local HD parts guy that I need to buy 2 wheel installation kits in order to do the swap ($69/ea. x 2).

What exactly comes in these kits? Is it just a pair of wheel bearings and some spacers?

Are there any parts on my stock, steel spoke rims that can be swapped over?

Anything else I need to know to do the upgrade?

I think it's just the bearings and races for your model.
If the same size wheel, you will reuse your axle and spacers.

 

Spacers...rotor bolts...pulley bolts...valve stem

 

Depends on the kit - some have more than others but still costs the same. Depending what your dealer wants for bearings it can be a pretty good deal unless you want to pull apart the hub of your old wheels you'd need the bearings, centre spacer, valve stem/nut and rotor bolts at the very least. Sounds like a lot but really isn't.
