Major complaint with Fox Creek Leather Custom Jacket

I've been caught like that before, and figured it was on me, since the date's right there in the first post.

A look at his profile tells you he is still active here with his last post on site in July of this year. Not sure why the original post shows it to be 2011.

think you checked the wrong profile. the op's profile shows 8 posts, the last one being 9-28-11. he did mention in his last post that he was going 1-1/2 hrs to pick up his new bike and was wanting to know about break-in. no mention of what he got though.....

I think it was just misread. OP's "last activity", presumably just a visit, but not a post, was 7/6/14.

Yes, it was his last activity here, not his last post. Hard to believe tho that he would be around for 3 yrs or so without posting.

With some of you people....there is just no satisfying. Seems like there is always people out there ready to criticize the poor bastard that has the guts to start a thread.
Bashing? I hardly think this is bashing! On the contrary, I think that guy was incredibly polite and he even compliments their quality! He writes a complete sequence of events and even posts pictures! Are you F**king kidding me!?!
I hardly think it matters how many posts the guy has. So what… now there’s an initiation period? This is not the forum section for saying “hi”, would it have made a difference if it was his second post? Nah…some of you just feel the need to rag on people.
I personally think the OP did a very good job at describing his experience. He obviously put forth some effort and after all….. it is his thread!
Well done Just Trails, let me be one of the first to say; Welcome to the forum!
I’m sure that as with most people that have come aboard here, you probably lurked for a while before making your first post. And if that’s the case, then you already know that there are some really descent people here with much information to share. But along with that, and as well as any other forum, you get the people that have little to contribute in anything other than criticism.

*REAL* leather, made/tanned well, will last generations usually and not look too much different on the second or third generation as it did on the first. This is why the higher price. If one pays cheap, they *get* cheap. I guarantee the Legendary jacket I have will last at least another generation, and I've owned it for 5 years now but I ride in *all* weather (naturally not so much in summer sun, but sometimes) and it still looks as new as the day I got it. I use it as a pillow at rallies in my tent, I throw it under the bike when *not* being used as a pillow and it's warm out without it, etc, etc. It gets *used and abused*...I think it's better than a Timex!

I mostly "Lurk Here" because I'm new to the sport and know very little and have nothing to contribute but a lot to learn maybe others are in the same position.
