Default RE: Extended Service Contract

I just read that Best Buy and Circuit City make over 50% of their yearly profits from selling extended warranties. I would pay 1700 dollars for an extended warranty with a $50 deductible. Worse yet if you are paying intersest on the extended warranty cost. If you want piece of mind put the $1700 in the bank earn interest on it and when you have a problem with the motorcycle take the money out and pay for the repairs. If you are having major problems all the time after the warranty is up I would just trade the bike in and get a new motorcycle.

I guess My dealer is the lowest around as I paid $1,600 for the 4 year ESA. I do like having it under warranty for as long as my loan is. Peace of Mind etc. I dont have to worry about it being Voided becuase there will be no Perf mods. The 07' Bob stays stock So for 6 years until its paid off its under Warranty , then I may do some mods but I doubt it.
