They are bringing back Knuckleheads...

Unfortunately, they will be upper management personnel in charge of pricing, paint schemes, and warantees...

Gee! I think I will have them build my 2011 custom bike as a Softail Custom with a carbed EVO and drag pipes. Well! They said they would do custom builds.

Sounds like it is just an online app to help pick out the P&A from their catalog so you can print it out and take it in to the dealer. Now, if you can actually get your bike from the factory spec'ed out how you want it without having to pay extra for all the crap (handgrips, exhaust, seat, shift linkage, handlebars, etc.) you are just going to take off your bike after it arrives at the dealer, now that would be something...we'll have to wait and see.

If its that good, I'm gonna be pissed! I just bought my 2011 Deluxe and I'm slowly adding Harley parts...as well as aftermarket.....but the ability to go through the catalog and just get you bike with a lot of the stuff you have to order and wait for....and then put on is a good idea.

HaHaHaHa I had 2 AMFs and they weren't bad. Didn't know what to do when I bought the 97 bagger. I was so used to wrenching after a ride it was second nature. Didn't have to carry a roll of tie wire or a tool roll anymore. Not that that was a bad thing. Just made lazy....

I don't see Harley building custom bikes in the plant. This would p*ss the dealers off. Plus I want to be able to chose third-party accessories if I want, not just HD.
