Default FLHX Headlight Issue

Headlight does not work. Bright indicator stays on even when switched to the dim position. Still no light. Any suggestions?

I'd say check your bulb - sounds like it blew out...??

Yep, that's the way it works. If the bulb, or in my case, the socket goes bad, the high beam indicator stays on.

remove the screw on the bottom of the chrome ring 2 remove the three screws from the retaining ring 3 pull headlight out and unplug.To remove the bulb remove rubber boot and push down on wire loop and push end out from under the retainer lip remove bulb and replace.

Thanks I'll try it,,, I just couldnt figure why the high beam indicator stayed on
