I have used the ISO grips with the throttle boss for years and like them a lot. I now have the black ones on my new FLTRU and the boss is actually redesigned and even more comfortable.

I put one of these on my Vmax years ago. Drama free. Best out there.

I put the Kuryakyn ISO's w/ throttle boss on the road king and find that I use the cruise a lot less than before.
They are very comfortable to me, fit my hand perfectly.
With the electronic throttle most of the throttle locks won't work.

I've had the Throttle Mate on the 06 for years & it works like a charm so I got one for the 09 & could not get it to hold the friction shoe. I even changed the shoe & it didn't help so I put the Cruise Buddy on it & all is fine now.

+1 on the Breakaway. Much better than anything else I have tried. Click it and forget it. When you was to disengage you either tap the the brake or push the button. As mentioned next best thing to cruise control. Yup it's pricey, but all things considered with the mods people make to their bike......Worth the price.
