For you guys with the Firstgear leather overpants, how do you size them?
I assume they fit over your jeans, or other pants. So it I'm a size 30
waist, I'd go up 1 size for the overpants?

Thanks to everyone for all the help!
Petemac, check the NewEnough - First Gear page. They have very useful fitting advice and good prices. My husband and I have bought a bunch of things from them -- great folks.

regards,

JT

After I saw the movie Police Academy, and the scene with the "bikers" in the Blue Oyster Bar, I don't think I'll ever be able to get myself to wear motorcycle chaps. I used to wear chaps bullriding though.

I'm a size 30 waist
Show off!!![8D]

I wear them when it gonna be cooler than the mid 60's. When it gets to the low 30's and cooler, I could use something a little warmer, but I don't have but about 25 miles or so to work....

The draw back to leather overpants is the adjustability. Everything seems to fit a little snug during football season and turkey day! So the overpants can get a little uncomfortable around the waist line!

Cold weather only. Jeans did a wonderful job preventing the dreaded road rash.
