I think the Vrod is actually pretty popular outside the typical Harley crowd. At my job I know 3 guys who own them and love the machines. I can also guarantee they are not the type to log onto Harley forums or even walk into the Harley dealership again except for service.

I could count the number of times I have seen the rocker or the crossbones outside of the dealership on one hand. It's a shame, because although I don't care much for the chopper look, I can appreciate the uniqueness of the rocker in the Harley line up.

My opinion, there is a place and a market for those bikes, but they should be limited production and stick to the $14-16k range. Basically an affordable CVO.

Did someone say Night Train? Ain't that the one that gets parked next to some TRAIN TRACKS so people can guess what model it is???

I am fairly confident it was the Street Rod. The local dealer still has a new 2006 (I think) VRSCR on the floor. Everything else is at most a 2010.

Least popular big twin in the last 10 years is for sure the FXDXT; not many sold 2001-2003. I would consider the Sporty and V-Rod to not be "big twins"...

I've never seen one other than in a showroom.
