those are great guys to do bus with i have the graveyard gal, only problem is its hard to see wants it is on the bike they are not engraved its like photo transfere

 

Hi temp flat black engine paint has lasted 20k miles for me.

 

Scuffed up, paint w/ clear 15K miles.

If I was going to paint it, I'd probably use duracoat or GunKote.

 

Sand it to remove all of the chrome, then use a good self etching primer. After that has cured, you can paint it (enamel paint will last the longest and resist chipping). Here is a derby and timer cover that I painted and pinstriped.
