I'm deaf in left ear, maybe we should ride together. You do the hearing and I'll do the looking. Your awareness should pick up quickly with the good eye. Best of luck to you and be careful.

I wore an eye patch when I was a kid. It was a cool look. Not sure where to buy them. Google the topic or ask an ophthalmologist.

ahoy mate, now you can go for that pirate look...add a do-rag and you are there! lol. my 77 year old uncle lost one eye when he was 6 playing with fireworks. it has never slowed him down. been traveling the country in a motor home for many years. he hunts and plays golf. you will be just fine. get on that bike and go.

Thumbs up Eye patch

I wore one on my right eye for 6 months after I wrecked my bike. I found that it was much easier to ride then to drive a car. The poor depth perception makes you unable to judge distances and you end up getting a lot of scrapes on the car. With a bike you can see around it so n o probelem there. The biggest thing I found was when you stop or have a yield sign. You much urn your head much further to see oncoming traffic.

I did it for several months tilll I hand an operation. Once I got used to it, really wasn't that bad, cars though are tough.

Good luck with it. ( I never had anything but drug store patches.) Captain Itch could probably make you a nice leather one.

I know it can be be done.......My Dad lost sight in his right eye in during Normandy (Irst wave, Irst division!) An explosion detached his retina. Drove just fine for 61 years. He's 90 years old now and just quit driving last year. (His mind is'nt quite as sharp as it usedto be LOL, so I had to talk him into giving it up.)
