I can't see very well out of my right eye, also due to a condition I often have sort of doublevision when using both eyes (especially when driving/riding at night).
I often find myself using my left eye only and turning my head more to scan. It isn't really an issue on the bike, I notice it more in my truck looking at the right mirror.

i had to wear one for 4 months. the first week will be a bit horrible... i already ran into things and by the end of the first week i must of had a dozen cuts on my legs from tables and sadly a few wall accidents. but after the week i was ok to drive and had the whole depth perception thing down. i do suggest getting a soft eyepatch and possibly using a cloth or something under it to begin with. for a lot of people it wiggle wiggle and such before it settles into it's home and you don't want it agitating the area.

Just make sure you TURN YOUR HEAD to look before changing directions. This will help with the narrow field of vision.

I lost the vision in my right eye as well.I don't wear a patch but if I did,I'd prob. have a little better depth perception or clearer vision.Depth is one of the things that seems a little screwed! I also don't like guys riding on my right side either. And yeah, you find ya gotta turn your freekin head around like the excorsist! Not to mention you run into people on your right side cause ya cant see the damn people!

We got a bunch of physical *****-ups on this forum. (LOL) I include myself in that group I have never worn an eye patch, and I ain't quite totally deaf yet, but all my joints are phucked up. I am getting close to needing a trike because it is getting hard to hold a bike up. Do some research. I am sure you will find a way to keep the face in the wind!
