Oklahoma is doing away with the cigarette pack size passes that velcro on they use now and going to a credit card size pass that sticks permanently to the windshield. Got to figure out how to make that work in a windshield bag. Maybe stick it to a small sheet of Plexiglas or other plastic and stick that in the bag.

Dave,

I have my TollTag mounted to my windshield just under my bag. I've never had an issue on the DNT, the Bush, or at the airport. I also have a TollTag in my Jeep.

Don't really need them anymore though. They photo your plate now, and if you have a TollTag account they just bill that. If not, they send you a bill in the mail.

Pretty sure they've now linked in the new stretch of 121. I've ridden it many times and never received a bill, so I'm guessing it comes out of my TollTag account.

I have mine mounted inside the fairing and it works fine there. Before that I just had it mounted inside the windshield bag. Like others have said they have a nice pic of your license and they will just subtract it from your account.
Also hitting the toll boothes right on the white line will get you a free pass about 75% of the time, but kind of hard to do in rush hour traffic.

Don't ride them much but always handed them a bill and pocket the change much easier to deal with.

Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Colorado are states I've driven in with tollways. Plenty of others, too.

One of the guys from Jersey suggested mounting my IPass on the underside of one of my saddlebags. Gonna try that next time I ride to Pittsburgh.

Oh yeah...the urban growth in DFW over the last 30 years has been exponential....so to build a new roadway you have to first acquire the land, which can be very expensive. The state only will fund so much, and using eminent domain can be extremely unpopular.....so, we have toll roads for the new major highways.

We only use eminent domain for new sports stadiums and Walmarts.
