Default Any long-term damage from Xieds?

Thinking of using Xieds to lower temps. Anyone know of any down side to long term use of them? Thanks

How could they cause any damage? They prevent damage caused by running too lean.

If you are concerned, you could run the standard O2 IEDs.

I've had XIEDs on my '08 FLHT for about 25,000 miles now and see no reason for any concern.

Are Xieds enough to run with a Stage one air cleaner, or would I still need a power commander or similar?

I did a google search

Xtreme Inline Enhancement Device. They are basically inline wires (resistors) to your O2 sensors to trick your closed-loop fuel injection system into running richer. The stock air-fuel mixture is 14.7 which is pretty lean. The IED's take it down to 14.2, and the XiED's take it down to 13.8. Do a search on here for them. There are a ton of threads on them. I myself installed the XiED's about 4 weeks ago and absolutely love them. The bike sounds throatier, better throttle response and way cooler temps. They do work! No matter what guys will say on this continued thread! Have fun.
