Default Horn covers... to change or not to change?

decisions decisions

Been contemplating swapping out the original HD 'cowbell' horn cover with an aftermarket horn cover but then I'm thinking...naw, that would be like changing the 'M' logo for McDonald's, after all the nice original HD chrome 'cowbell' cover is like the logo for the Twin V's and it tells all that, Yes ... it's a Harley !

I changed mine to a one with a skull
never looked at the horn cover the way you stated
I do never change the grips cause of that same reason

must be how one looks at things

onek of the first thing i changed it does not say harley no one knows it says you own a harley and why do you care anyway it is butt ugly, one of the things that is so neat about a harley you can make it your own not like every one elses, sounds like you won`t wear a t`shirt unless it says harley,

I agree with the original poster about the stock horn cover being a uniquely Harley image, so I maintain the cowbell. Years back I changed one on a Wide Glide to an alternate Harley cover and it just never looked right so I changed it back. Maybe I'm a traditionalist, oh well. To each their own.
Buckinfitch, your ride looks good.

I've got one similar to Toastman's, couldn't stand the cowbell. It was practically one of the first things I did to my bike.

I say change it and never look back.
