The group of guys I ride with every spring decided we were going to do this for our annual trip, then we heard it was cancelled... Now it sounds like its back on, which is fantastic news. Hope they get there site up and running soon so we can start planning. Like everyone here, gotta figure out what I'm budgeting for this trip and get it set aside.
This will be the first time any of us have been to the west coast. Excited to see it.

Original Kiwanis Redwood Run, June10-12th, Piercy
Taking into account the crappy economy, Kiwanis is offering a three day pass for $85. advance, $95. at the gate. Once the account is set up (two weeks!) you'll be able to purchase on line. We have a temporary web site set at kiwanisrwr.com. but you might have to type that in on the top bar, as Google takes time posting new sites. Stay tuned, Jim -

Redwood Run is ON for 2011
Do not go by what the old website is posting. They are not associated with the run anymore and working hard to make sure people can't find out about the run.
The Redwood Run will continue and the new website is http://www.kiwanisrwr.com/
The Kiwanis are producing the event themselves this year with not much outside help, so your support of the run is greatly appreciated.
The event is being held at a new location this year, right up the street from the old place.
Tickets will be $90 in advance and $100 at the gate and will be on sale in about a week. They are hoping for a sell out, so advance ticket purchase is recommended.
Featured Events Include
- Live Bands Including...
Tommy Castro Band - The Fryed Brothers - Kaye Bohler - Amanda Gray - Charlie Brechtel - Ronnie Montrose
- Bike Games
- Wet T-Shirt Contest
- Vendors
- Plenty of Food, Beer, Mixed Drinks
- On-site Camping on Private Property
- and as much fun as you can make
We will of course be hosting our CycleFish Annual Redwood Meet & Greet at the CycleFish Campsite and everyone is welcome to stop by (http://www.cyclefish.com/event/193/). Since this is a new venue, we're not sure where the campsite will be yet, but there will be signs and announcements at the rally.
